Writing any blog is deeply personal. When it is about your passion and your career, it is also deeply satisfying. Talking about and learning about wine is something I do every time I open a bottle.
So much of what we learn and experience stays in our heads and our hearts. Because I love what I do, I want to express all the nuances and fresh insights I have about wine as I work, as well as the interesting happenings and offbeat conversations I get to have with friends, students, colleagues and family.
This blog is as much an exploration of wine for me as I hope it is for you.
